The Journey to Jungle Friends
Initially purchased as a companion for another 'pet' marmoset, Marlee's guardian hoped they would bond well together. However, it became apparent that female marmosets tend to be dominant, and keeping two females together is often challenging. In the wild, they typically form pairs with one male and one female or live in small family groups.
Since Marlee and her potential companion didn't get along, the guardian decided it would be best for Marlee to live at Jungle Friends. Here, she could find a more suitable monkey friend. Marlee spends much of her time outdoors, basking in the sunshine alongside her new monkey companion. Occasionally, she can be seen lounging in her favorite hammock at the top of her habitat, observing the world around her with curiosity.
Marlee and her kindred spirit doppelganger, Vanessa Hudgens, enjoy relaxing outdoors and have been spotted unwinding in hammocks and leisurely observing the world around them.
