BoBo's story began when Bella, a teenager from Pennsylvania, bought him from a breeder in Tennessee as a special Christmas gift for her boyfriend, Bryce. However, Bella's family wasn't informed of two critical details: it's illegal to have monkeys as pets in Pennsylvania, and BoBo had been taken away from his monkey parents. Realizing BoBo needed to be with others of his kind, his human family made the compassionate decision to send him to Jungle Friends. There, BoBo was given a chance at an "Almost Wild" life with other monkeys, thanks to the realization and action of his caring human family.

Upon arrival, BoBo immediately embraced his new environment with a display of remarkable acrobatic prowess, fearlessly swinging and leaping from branch to branch. His agile movements and quick adaptation to the expansive habitat underscore his adventurous spirit and capability to thrive under new conditions. Alongside his physical feats, BoBo has shown a deep interest in his human caregivers, a testament to his upbringing, while also curiously observing Penny and Arie, his neighbors, hinting at his sociable nature and eagerness to connect with fellow monkeys.
