Peaceful Guardian
Carli was originally purchased as a 'service monkey' for a young girl named Lauren, who had become paraplegic following a car accident. Despite Carli receiving more care than she provided, she was dearly loved by Lauren and her family.
Tragically, after Lauren's sudden passing, her mother was determined to find the best possible home for Carli and reached out to Jungle Friends. Carli's kind veterinarian, Dr. Beasley, drove Carli cross-country to her new sanctuary home.
Carli arrived with a dowry that funded the construction of a new outdoor habitat and indoor enclosure specifically for her. Additionally, in memory of Lauren, Carli's guardian made a generous donation to build another habitat and indoor enclosure for a monkey on the sanctuary's waiting list.
Carli's inquisitive nature led her to form an unexpected bond with Potter, one of the rescue dogs at the sanctuary. Upon seeing Potter for the first time, Carli eagerly ran to him and began lip-smacking, a sign of affection. Their relationship blossomed, and Carli began gently caressing and grooming Potter.
