After enduring 12 long years in a laboratory, Clotho finally arrived at Jungle Friends sanctuary with her best friend, Atropos.  Clotho, the larger of the two with distinctive tufts of hair on her head, couldn't wait to explore. 

The moment the doors of their transport cage opened, Clotho and Atropos made a beeline for the monkey bars, a favorite spot for many monkeys at the sanctuary.  Brave Clotho quickly warmed up to her new surroundings, even approaching humans for treats. Within a single day, she had explored every inch of their "Almost Wild" habitat.  Her intelligence was evident as she quickly mastered the intricate runway system.

Both Clotho and Atropos have adapted seamlessly to sanctuary life, their playful energy keeping them in constant motion. 

Clotho's name holds a deeper meaning. She was named after one of the Three Fates in Greek mythology - the one who spun the thread of life for all mortals. Her sisters are Lachesis and Atropos.
