Dexter, an adorable capuchin, made his entrance to Jungle Friends on Independence Day 2015. He was just a young monkey, not even two years old, when he arrived.

Recognizing Dexter's need for companionship, his caring humans embarked on a long journey from Kansas to bring him to a sanctuary for better socialization opportunities. His devoted humans not only dropped Dexter off but also returned over the next few days to visit him, ensuring he felt secure and confirming that Jungle Friends was indeed a safe haven.

Dexter is now happy and settled in his new home. Known as "The Playful Prankster," he loves to wrestle with his companion.

Dexter's spirit doppelganger is Ryan Reynolds. Ryan Reynolds' witty, playful, and charismatic personality, combined with his expressive facial features and ability to bring joy and laughter, perfectly matches Dexter's lively and charming nature.
