My Story

Riot, a squirrel monkey, along with 25 others, was relocated to Jungle Friends after being retired from nicotine research. This relocation, reported by CNN, was celebrated as historic since this group is the first to retire from the FDA.

Riot serves as the troop's vigilante, surveying his surroundings and alerting his companions to incoming treats and captivating happenings around the sanctuary. His reactions vary dramatically with the nature of the event: a beloved treat provokes a symphony of bird-like chirps, setting the entire troop a-twitter. These days, Riot is particularly busy. He announces the arrival of new foliage in the outdoor areas of their habitat and enjoys the vibrant floral arrangements donated by a local florist, his excitement palpable and infectious.
