Max and April led an unconventional life, traveling from state to state in a 5th Wheel with their human "owner." During their travels, they posed with people at fairs and carnivals, experiencing a nomadic lifestyle that lasted for years.

But as time passed, their 75-year-old "owner" decided it was time for them to retire from the road. Thanks to the generous donations from Jungle Friends' supporters, funds were raised to build a habitat specially designed for Max and April. 

Max, the talkative chatterbox of the duo, had a particular fondness for grapes. He delighted in sucking on them, squishing them between his fingers, and savoring every drop of juice. With the new habitat providing ample space to roam, Max spends his days traversing the runways between two habitats, forging friendships with his fellow monkey neighbors and snacking.

After 29 years of living in diapers and being tethered by leashes during their travels, Max finally experienced freedom without restraints. Embracing his newfound liberty, he reveled in the expansiveness of his new life, filled with possibilities and newfound friendships. 

Max's spirit doppelganger is 'Scrat' from the Ice Age series. Scrat is known for his comical antics, expressive faces, and relentless pursuit of acorns, which mirrors Max's playful and curious personality, especially when it comes to treats.
