Earl, a tender four-year-old Bolivian Squirrel monkey, found refuge at Jungle Friends, alongside his steadfast companion, Joey. Their story begins in a bleak lab where they were bred for medical research. Born into captivity, their early fate seemed sealed by the cold sterility of laboratory life, destined to be tools of science.
However, a twist of fate altered their destiny. The study they were intended for was canceled before they could be subjected to experiments. Their escape from a grim future was narrow, but their trials were far from over. They were on the brink of being sent to another research facility when, once again, fate intervened. Instead of a life behind bars and in the hands of scientists, they found themselves in the lush, green embrace of Jungle Friends.
At the sanctuary, Earl and Joey's bond had become unbreakable. They were seldom seen apart, always the best of friends. Sadly, Joey passed away in 2019. Shortly after, Earl was introduced to Carl, another laboratory monkey who was rescued at the age of 21. Earl and Carl quickly formed a strong bond and continue to get along exceptionally well, finding solace and safety in each other's presence.
Earl's famous doppelganger is George Harrison. Known as the quiet Beatle, Harrison had an introspective & sensitive nature. He preferred a quieter, more secluded life away from the hectic public eye. Similarly, Earl enjoys the solace of tranquility & privacy.
Earl, gentle and delicate, finds comfort in the simple pleasures of life.
Here he takes a break to enjoy a tasty snack in the peaceful sanctuary.
Earl, always the curious explorer, investigates a tree in his serene environment.
