Ex-Pet
Whimsical Wanderer
Willy, a golden-handed tamarin, arrived at Jungle Friends after being rescued from a private home where he had been raised alongside a marmoset from infancy. While their bond helped him survive a difficult start, it also left Willy with some species confusion, he now prefers the company of marmosets over his own kind, and he happily lives among his marmoset neighbors in Munchkinland!
From the moment he arrived, Willy's big personality made an even bigger impression. He absolutely adores people and is often the first to greet caregivers with a wide-eyed stare and his signature excited chirp, especially if he suspects a snack is coming! Whether it's cereal, fruit, or a crunchy treat, nothing gets Willy more excited than mealtimes.
But snacks aren't the only thing that brings out his enthusiasm. Willy is a master cicada hunter, darting through his habitat with lightning speed and laser focus. His favorite pastime is climbing through the bamboo, scanning for bugs, and keeping a close eye on all the activities around him. Playful, curious, and full of charm, Willy is thriving in his "Almost Wild" life at Jungle Friends.
Willy Wonka's doppelganger is his namesake. Willy Wonka, the character from "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory". They both embody elements of curiosity, charm, and adventure.
There's never a dull moment with Willy around. He shows off his playful side with an endearing, contagious look.
