W I N T H R O P
Winthrop embarked on his Jungle Friends journey alongside 32 fellow cotton-top tamarins, following the closure of the laboratory that had been their sole habitat. Upon arrival, Winthrop and his friend Sailor presented a striking resemblance, almost akin to twins, confounding caregivers initially. However, within a matter of days, their distinct personalities emerged. While Winthrop exuded caution and displayed a skittish demeanor compared to his partner, he also revealed a penchant for adventure. Embracing the great outdoors, Winthrop spends his days basking in the winter sun and seeking respite in the misters during scorching summer days, embodying a harmonious blend of caution and curiosity amidst his Jungle Friends sanctuary.
Tom Hanks is Winthrop's spirit doppelganger, embodying qualities of both caution & courage. Hanks is known for his thoughtful approach to roles & his skill in portraying characters facing adversity with bravery & determination.
Winthrop's thoughtful gaze captures his blend of skittishness and adventurous spirit—always ready to explore yet mindful of every step.
Despite a life full of changes, Winthrop is a symbol of strength and joy, always ready to explore and enjoy his sanctuary home.
With two decades of life experience, Winthrop the cotton-top tamarin enjoys his days in the sanctuary, from winter sunbathing to summer misting.
