Ferris Bueller
Common Squirrel Monkey

Former Lab
The Innocent Instigator
Fry is one of 26 squirrel monkeys who made history when they were retired from FDA nicotine studies and welcomed into the peaceful embrace of Jungle Friends Primate Sanctuary. His arrival, alongside his troop, marked a turning point for lab animals across the country, with CNN covering the monumental release. For Fry and his friends, it was a long-overdue ticket to freedom.
But while Fry’s past might be groundbreaking, his demeanor suggests he’s blissfully unaware of his place in history. With his perpetually bewildered expression, Fry always manages to look like the innocent bystander, no matter the situation. Whether caught in the middle of a mid-afternoon monkey mischief session or sitting on the sidelines as food mysteriously flies across the enclosure, Fry’s go-to look says, “Who, me? I have no idea what just happened!” His sweet, wide-eyed gaze never fails to deflect suspicion, especially when the question arises: “Who threw that?”
Fry is the master of plausible deniability. If you catch him in the act, expect him to quickly avert his gaze and adopt an air of charming innocence. But beneath that lovable confusion lies a playful spirit that knows exactly what’s going on—and may even be the one stirring the pot.
Ferris Bueller is Fry's spirit doppelganger. Much like Fry, who dodges suspicion, Ferris gets away with mischief by using his charm and impeccable timing.
Climbing comes naturally to Fry, but looking cute while doing it? That's his true talent.
Up in the trees, Fry’s sweet expression makes it impossible to believe he could ever be the cause of chaos.
Fry, mid-climb, with that classic 'Who, me?' expression—innocence at its finest.
Peering out from behind the leaves, Fry looks like he's plotting his next move… or is he just curious?
Climbing may be Fry’s forte, but stealing hearts with that cute face is where he really excels.
Perched high above, Fry pauses to take in the view—or he’s just trying to figure out what the other monkeys are up to.
