Once kept as a household pet, Zephyr began to show increasing aggression towards her guardians, particularly during feeding times. Having never had the opportunity to interact with other monkeys, Zephyr’s behavior highlighted her need for a more natural environment. Recognizing this, her guardians made the heartfelt decision to give Zephyr a chance to live among her own kind. Seeking a place where she could truly thrive, they brought her to Jungle Friends, where Zephyr now enjoys a life surrounded by fellow marmosets. With her gentle, curious demeanor, she’s affectionately known as “Wind Whisper,” a fitting nod to her name and her serene presence. Zephyr spends her days exploring her habitat, bonding with other monkeys, and discovering the joys of living in a natural sanctuary environment.
