My Story

Biggie, Smalls, and Tupac made their debut at Jungle Friends in March 2019 after being rescued from an illegal breeding operation. When officials swooped in to seize the monkeys, the breeder handed over a few but fled with the rest. Luckily, these three were among those rescued and were able to turn their lives around.

Settling into their new abode at Jungle Friends, Smalls, Tupac, and Biggie soon found themselves in the spotlight. Biggie's belly began to balloon rapidly, raising eyebrows and igniting chatter that she may be preggers. Before long, the rumors were confirmed—Biggie was indeed expecting. Given these marmosets' checkered past with a shady breeder, the news didn't come as a complete shock.

Soon after, Biggie gave birth to baby Lani. Smalls assumed the protective big brother role, and the family embraced their new life at Jungle Friends with gusto. As they kicked off this fresh chapter, they reveled in the comforts of their new home, living large and free.
