Bug Hunting Ray Catcher
Kiefer the marmoset arrived at Jungle Friends on April 4, 2015, after being found by a cleaning crew in a South Florida apartment, abandoned by the previous tenants. Alone for 2-3 days without food or water, this resilient little monkey was fortunate to be rescued just in time. The cleaners brought him straight to Jungle Friends, where he quickly began his new chapter.
Now, Kiefer is thriving in ways we could have only hoped for. He’s formed a close bond with his new friend Arie, spending his days chasing bugs and soaking up the warmth of the sun. His once uncertain future has been replaced with a life of play, companionship, and peace, where he is fully embracing the happiness and care he now receives. From a rough start to a bright future, Kiefer is truly flourishing.
Kiefer's spirit doppelgänger is Robinson Crusoe from the classic adventure novel. Like Crusoe, Kiefer was left stranded and alone, but through resilience, he found a new life filled with discovery and adventure. Now thriving in his sanctuary, much like Crusoe on his island, Kiefer has built a life full of companionship and exploration.
From abandoned to adored—Kiefer's happy and thriving, surrounded by love and sunshine.
Exploring every corner of his world, Kiefer is proof that second chances can lead to joy.
A peaceful afternoon for Kiefer, who’s found comfort and companionship in his new home.
